Beowulf....

Beowulf.... such an interesting story. We have to read it for lit class and I think that it is rather interesting. I made a comic about it for a newspaper assignment..... and I decided to post it here. In the bubble it says 'I'm Beowulf and I am going to fight Grendel and his mother! I'm not scared of death!" Then it says : Beowulf then and now.... could he have survived if he was younger? And in the lowest bubble I made fun of that fact that he was like 100 years old when he decided to fight the dragon. He says: "Grab my swoard Wiglaf, we must go fight a dragon. When I was young I was a great warrior... I still have the strength *cough*"

Value Drawing

So.... here is a sketchbook assignment I did on value. I did it with a china marker and I drew fruit! No grapes though... I don't like drawing grapes. I drew apples and bananas and something else... peaches? I dunno what they are called.... wow.... that's kind of sad.

I cough and I weeze and I sound like a corpse...what am I?

So sick.... yuck. I am super de duper sick. It's not fun. My throat hurts and I can't stop coughing. For the past several days all I've done is sleep and get up to move around for a bit....

I think that there should be a cure for the common cold or the flu or the fever or whatever it is. Maybe even all of them... Cause all there is are a few little things that make you feel a bit better. There is no cure. I'm drinking my weight in water, I've just eaten chicken noodle soup and I took a two hour nap. Yet I don't feel better!

Thats my opinion... we need a cure for the cold.

Art 6-8 hours

So here is some art that I did over the last week or so... All different types of media.

Okay.... so this is a pencil sketch a drew for my 6-8 hours last week....

And this... is also part of my 6-8 hours. This one I did on the computer though rather than in pencil. (I used complimentary colors yay) Anyways.... thats what I did for my 6-8 hours. I also did this series of torn paper moved around. I took a page from my sketchbook and ripped it up, then I moved it around and took pictures of it. I took it onto my computer and photoshoped it to alter the hue and saturation.... and they were done!

So that is it.... basically....

Finished Dress

So! I got pictures of my dress! I had issues taking them myself, but I think they aren't that bad....

Yeah, thats the dress I made. It's very colorful! Makes me feel very happy.

So... That's just an update on the dress. I will post some cosplay pictures of me dressed as Hina Ichigo sometime during November.

Deviantart, Pink Ink and Dresses... Oh my!

So, my computer has recently decided to hate deviantart. I can get on the page for a few minutes, but then my entire Internet fails. So I can't really upload things or look at other people's art. So for the time being I will post some art that I do here occasionally.


Anyways. Recently I have been doing a roleplay about a knight and a princess with a friend of mine. It's been really super duper fun and it is getting me in the mode for nanowrimo. Recently I have been drawing the characters we are writing about in my notes on the margins. The knight is harder to draw so most of them are doodles of my princess character doing random things. I hae sketches of the Queens, but mostly I just have a bunch of princess drawings.


So here is one of my many doodles. I like this one though because it is in pink ink, which I think is pretty fun!

Someday I'll post some drawings of the knight, but now is not that day.

Today, I worked on creating a dress and I finished it! It is blue and yellow and red and green. I'll post a picture of it later. It has a bit of a poof to the skirt and the top part is bunched together. It's hard to describe. I'll just get a photo of it later.

So... yeah! In other news, my iPod is still broken. It still won't turn on.

My brand new broken iPod...

Ah yes. My first blog. Huzzah!

I actually only started this thing because of one of my other friends good brilliant ideas. She got a blog because all of her friends moved away from her school and she wanted them to be able to see what was going on in her life. I got a blog because I am one of those friends who had moved away from my old school and I want my friends to be able to see what is going on in my life!







I bought myself a brand new iPod nano! It is purple and one of those fourth generation ones that when you shake it, the song shuffles. When I first got it all I did was shake the iPod around and flip the screen side to side to watch the screen go from coverflow to album lists. On the back of the iPod my name is engraved. It is 16 GB and I spent all of my money on it. It was the coolest thing... well anyways, I got this iPod not so long ago and I've already broke it. Yes... it is broken.

It's very sad. Especially since now I am broke and I don't even have an iPod. I'm waiting for a while hoping that it will work, but I don't know... The screen won't turn on or anything.

So... that is quite depressing. Wish me the best luck for it's repair!
